In The City 03:22
I grew up in the country where the sky was wide. I moved into the city and my life got hard. Now I’m running through the city horizon’s so far away. away away away so far away I came in from the country where the nights are quiet. Now I’m living in the city where the lights are bright Roaming through the country where there’s no one round Now I’m running through the city horizon’s so far away. away away away so far away lights flashing bright I can’t see the sky all building’s so high they cover my mind lights flashing bright I can’t see the sky all building’s so high they cover my lies

Ammonia 02:50
Yeah, I wanna know How far I’ve got to go How far we’ve got to go To find a place we already know Different this time I’ve never seen that before they all think I’m blind But I know what this feeling’s for… Yeah, you already know How far that I will go How far I’ve still got to go So much I don’t already know Different each time everyday another surprise they all say I’m blind But I know what this feeling’s for… Yeah, that says it all Great kingdoms always fall Like castles in the sand And smoke in a hurricane Different this time? And they all say I told you so And I’ll say I already know And they’ll all say I told you so... Yeah, and I wanna know How far I’ve got to go tiil they say I told you so till they say I told you so till they say I told you so till they say I told you so

Diamond 33 03:15
Don’t you know that we’re all shooting stars Here today and gone somewhere I don’t know when I don’t know if you’re the one for me Let’s talk a while and stare into the dark night sky Move on and dream on But just don’t disappear Now I’m sure that you’re the one for me We won’t have time unless we get started today Just look into my eyes and say those words While we still can cast long shadows in the sun Move on and dream on But just don’t disappear Tell me what you see When there’s nobody there? I’ll tell ya baby, things aren’t as bad as they seem. I told ya baby, we’re not part of the same Machine. Come on baby, maybe this time we should tell the truth. You know baby, things‘ll get better, you’ll see. All we need is freedom from this damn machine Come on honey, this time I just need to know The truth for what it is, Not what they say we should believe today. Move on and dream on But just don’t disappear

Another dirty sky looks down. We’re walking home upon another dirty sidewalk. If you smile, I’ll smile at you. But our hopes keep moving over the horizon. Success? – how far away? You wanna get down on it – it’s so hard to say. 40 days and 40 nights. Walking through the desert looking for salvation. When you smile, then I’ll smile too,... And my hopes fly back from over the horizon. Success? – how far away? You wanna get down on it – it’s so hard to say. Who’s next? Are they looking for you? you gotta keep on doing what you’ve got to do. Cars rush by us down below planes fly right over head Light reflects off the water into your eyes (on and on..., the end) The sun has risen and gone down All hopes have slept, been refreshed and awoken Now you’re smiling right at me What comes next? I don’t know Find it out together Another story will come up again And the time can be regained If you smile, I’ll smile with you but our hopes will vanish from the horizon

I'm Settled 03:34
Life’s unsettled When you choose to try to go it alone Who needs people? They say distance makes the heart grow fonder Walking alone until my face feels the sun Life’s uncanny when your eyes see All the possibilities From day to day Bed to bed Bill to bill Debt to debt Ex to ex Yesterday today And cradle to grave Fading, like the sun before the night Walking alone until my face feels the sun Until my face feels the sun The world turns around us honey We all play our parts to make some money The world keeps turning around us funny don’t stop running something’s coming… The world keeps running despite us baby The world keeps turning to spite us maybe The choice is made the die is cast Don’t stop running the man is coming… Life’s not forever So keep it together Don’t get caught up just chasing fun Walking with you now that my face feels the sun My face feels the sun

Fame it would mean nothing to me without you I promise And gain in a world without would have no value And pain can have all sorts of meaning shades of feeling the bleeding And I hear my favourite song when my groove is almost gone I wanna do it all night long dancing to my favourite song Hi its nice to meet you I’ve been waiting to see you And life would be lonely without you I don’t know where I’d go The coast somewhere in California with a sea view I see you now And I hear my favourite song when my groove is almost gone I wanna do it all night long dancing to my favourite song Fate It could lead someone to me like a story meant to be Fate A tiny change in my timing gone like ships into the night

I’v got to get, got to take it Bring it back, I wanna take it Gotta gotta get it right Make it, break it, just don’t fake it Last time I saw that face I was in another space I gotta have it, don’t forget If you do, we both regret it It’s alright now Nothing lost Just four or five tears Dry your eyes girl The night’s only young And you’re the hottest in here Let’s hit the road Touch my face Remind me of that special place Everytime you look my way It takes me back to the first day It’s alright now Nothing lost Just four or five tears Dry your eyes girl The night’s only young And you’re the hottest in here

Silent Days 02:50
Falling forward into Silent days and quiet nights, And golden dawns. Falling back into Star crossed eyes The price is paid. The time is gone. Looking forward to Hopeful lies and binding ties Under bloodshot skies. Looking back at times gone by, Feeling high, Another lie. Moving forward to unknown times and a risky life, with the vision behind. Moving back to moments of thoughts fast-forward the past at peace, at last Too fast, too slow, too late. To go, too far, to wait. Too high, too low, too gone. Tomorrow may be another day. Too slow, too fast, all go. Don’t wait, too late, too low. Too high, so bright, all gone. Tomorrow may be another day.

We Win 03:06
Bombing and burning War’s in the papers again No prior warning Families are mourning again Treaties and airspace The no-fly-zone’s in place - Oh yeah Money is flowing the more blood that starts flowing We win One guy is in for a college degree Another cose his mama is poor Is futile resistance the sign of a saintly ideal? Is futile resistance the mark of a beastly arms deal? Resistance is futile - bad winds blow in from the West. Corporate rebellions have paid for elections We win one boy is in ‘cose his uncle got killed, Another ‘cose he needed to eat, Retired Special Forces and contracted guns, A cycle of death and revenge one girl is in ‘cose her father is gone, Another had nowhere to go, Immoral spies and secret arms deals, will end the world Orphans and meaningless loss Families have been ripped apart Widows are walking in black A cycle of death and revenge Rich kids will never see war The war is poor against poor ribbons are pinned on the doors A cycle of death and revenge Bombing and Burning War’s in the papers again No prior warning Families are mourning again Bombing and Burning they’re talking about it again No prior warning Families are mourning. If all come together the world will see peace

You're It 03:38
Things can go by so much faster And you and I we know All we see and ever think of is all we ever know Could it all slip away before that we even knew what started happening Could it all slip away before that we even knew what started happening Rolling on Last summer was a good time we hoped it will never end the days were long the night seemed endless Will we live those days again And it all slip away before that we even knew what started happening And it all slip away before that we even knew what started happening Rolling on The same old song Rolling on The waves roll on And it’s all for you today To touch to feel I can’t believe There’s so much happening And it’s all for you today my dear but don’t ever forget what is possible The waves roll on side by side with you

When your body is sore Your journey unsure Your mind unclear But you get past the fear Tomorrow is already here When your weapons are worn Your passion gone Your treasure spent And your strength descends Someone gains the upper hand welcome to the art of peace You don’t need anything All is right where you are and thats where you begin welcome to the art of war Where no one ever wins leave your vanity behind We’re part of the whole thing When your voice is strained Your eyes drained Your intention was right But you still lost your mind It´ time to end a fight The art of war is what we saw Don´t leave it unsaid It´s never too late Oh man what a weird trend Let’s bring this to an end

about

Mondays to Sundays for Future – if there still is one at all!

On Yusuf Sahilli's new release there still is one – but not without some effort:

"LET'S DO THAT!"

As it is it on the global scale – there's friction, disruption and confrontation of all kinds on your local scale, too. In your neighborhood anyway ( "In the City" ) – where canyons of concrete, barrages of light and the rat race rule rather than rural expanse, muse and peace, calm and quiet of an old and far-sightedness and vision of any kind are getting lost more and more. Pop stars – title track "Let's Do That!" – with party animals dancing through the night – all very well. But please have a little sense of proportion, at least to what's really important and what's not. Attention and thoughtfulness to each other, for instance – important; every man for himself – not. The art of peace – important; the ruling eternal classic "The Art of War" – not. A song on the album that is inviting everybody to collective world peace.

Kicked off smoothly by the success of his debut release "Atoms & The Void" [ Rolling Stone: "A laid-back seeker"! ], now Yusuf Sahilli shifts up a gear with "Let's Do that!" – introducing even more musical idioms and gearing up the energy level. A little heavier on the social, political side, more variety in deliverance and even more lush harmonies & melodies than before.

We need to take a stand in times of global crisis like the ones we're in at the moment! We gotta know what we want. What to do. And then go!
